Volunteering with us is flexible! Simply fill out the Volunteer Request Form and we'll find the position that's right for you. Volunteers are contacted within 30 days of the festival. See you there! All volunteers who work a minimum 4-hour shift will be given a free Hampton Bay Days T-shirt!!!

Reach upwards of 250,000 people

We are excited to offer you a sponsorship to the 29th Anniversary of the Hampton Bay Days Festival held on Friday, September 9, 2011 – Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Downtown Hampton. Our mission is to create a family-oriented festival that educates visitors about the importance of the Chesapeake Bay and its natural resources. Last year, the festival brought upwards of 200,000 people to downtown Hampton to attend this unique, three-day family festival. Attendees enjoyed national recording artists, educational hands-on activities, environmental children’s activities, entertainment, arts and crafts, fireworks, and much more; all free and open to the public.

Hampton Bay Days draws upwards of 250,000 people.

On average, 59% of the Bay Days visitors are between the ages of 26 through 49 and more than 60% of our guests have an annual household income greater than $50,000.

Our surveys reveal that 60% of our guests reside on the peninsula in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and Richmond and nearly 40% come from the South Side of Hampton Roads living in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake.
